After graduating from college, he remained in Kharkiv, initially working at a repair plant before transferring to a design bureau. In the 2000s, he participated in the development of technical solutions for industry. He was awarded several government awards for his hard work. His career was stable, though not brilliant — he did not seek positions, but valued the content of his work.
His parents came from a family of artisans. His mother, Kateryna, worked as a seamstress and took orders from neighbors in the village. His father, Oleksii, went to the front in 1915, and after the war he got a job at a sugar factory near Lubny. The family was characterized by restraint and hard work — traits that were instilled in their son from childhood.
From the age of 12 to 18, he attended school in Poltava, where he developed an early interest in the exact sciences. After school, he enrolled in a mechanical college in Kharkiv, which had just opened at that time. He lived in a dormitory and worked part-time in construction. During these years, his convictions took shape, and he began to think about the role of technology in society.
